Founded twenty-five years ago, registered in Surat and headquartered in Bellary, the group runs over 1,030 owned vehicles across a twenty-city network, moved 8 million tonnes of cargo in FY 2023-24 across 3 lakh trips and 400 million kilometres, and pioneered collapsible-canopy trailers for cold-rolled steel coil. The problem
A steel fleet has problems a parcel fleet never sees. Loads are heavy, routes are long, and a coil that arrives late or damaged is measured in lakhs, not in a customer complaint.
At MD Movers’ scale, the work is spread across twenty cities and more than a thousand vehicles. Location, driver behaviour, compliance paperwork, loading and inspection each used to be a separate job, handled by separate people, with no single view of the whole operation.
